Pan Peninsula Shoot: Look One

We're all guilty of it, drooling over the amazing interiors we see in magazines or as we scroll through the Instagram accounts of Architectural Digest and Livingetc, wishing we could live in such beautiful spaces! But the reality is, most of us don't have these large spaces, or even the budgets that come with them. Actually, many of us in reality will have an awkward-shaped bedrooms or perhaps an annoying nook in a living room, which we've tried relentlessly to make use of but failed.

At Space Shack, we understand your pain and have been through this very process ourselves. That's why we've decided to share our own tips and secrets with you and have styled the same 'super-squashed' interior not once, but four times, to show you it is possible and it can be done on a budget and achieve the same premium look.

We chose an apartment in the elegant Pan Peninsula apartments, right in the heart of Canary Wharf, the city district of London. Each make over focuses on the living area but demonstrates various playful ways to give it a complete different overall feel and form. So sign up to our Facebook Page or follow us on Instagram and over the next month let us know which is your favourite look. We'd also love for you to share with us how you've managed to make over your own problem areas to produce your very own stylish and beautiful spaces. Check out the first make over below!

Happy styling!

The Look:

The modern bachelor pad. Remember the 80s look most boy's bedroom had - ugly right? but surprisingly too many men bring their university or childhood living with them when they set up their own home. We wanted to update this look and make it contemporary for today's modern man, soften the edges yet still retain a sense of masculinity. Using the familiar bold colours, we introduced different textures, geometric shapes and modern patterns.

Current Trends We've Used:

Hues of red and geometric shapes.

Our Favourite Finds:

We loved the stained red Cow Hyde Rug from Alma and the the adaptable marble Hex Tables from West Elm.
