For those of you who don't know about our Pan Peninsula Makeover Series or if you simply want a little refresher, here’s a breakdown of what we got up to!
We chose an apartment in the elegant Pan Peninsula apartments, right in the heart of Canary Wharf, the city district of London. Each make over focuses on the living area but demonstrates various playful ways to give it a complete different overall feel and form. Using the same sofa (from Dwell) for each look, we show you the importance that soft furnishings and artwork have on your overall look and how these can transform the entire look and feel of your room.
This week you get a chance to see the second of our looks for the Pan Peninsula apartments we made over in Canary Wharf.
Don't forget to sign up to our Facebook Page or follow us on Instagram and over the few weeks let us know which is your favourite look. We'd also love for you to share with us how you've managed to make over your own problem areas to produce your very own stylish and beautiful spaces. Check out the second look in our make over series below!
For the second look, we wanted to recreate the classic monochrome theme and bring it to life! The various citrus shades leave you feeling refreshed and kind of make you want to throw a small cocktail party with some friends and sip on some Sangrias and Mimosas? Our main colour inspiration for this look came from this beautiful statement chair from Alma. I instantly fell in love with this as soon as I walked into the showroom, and knew that I wanted to create a look based on this chair. As yellow was our main accent colour, we chose to bring in some other citrusy shades to the mix to shake the whole look up. The abstract painting by Mary Narduzzo is one of her signature pieces from her Narduzzo Gardens collection. The different colours, sizes and shapes of the cushions bring some fun to the look and can be found at West Elm and Home Sense!
