My Favourite Homeware Shops: Part One

Welcome to the first part of my favourite go-to homeware and furniture shops in London. Thought it was time to share with you where I love to shop, and there are so many places I had to do this post in two parts, so enjoy the first instalment and don't forget to tell us where you like to go too!

West Elm

As you might have noticed, we love West Elm. Their classy Midcentury-Modern furniture pieces are simply amazing and affordable for anyone who wants bring a bit of contemporary edge to their home and their range appeals to casual and high-end designer furniture aficionados like ourselves. West Elm's ability to produce such a diverse and high-quality range of homeware goods and furniture proves that there is something for everyone. Timeless, practical and beautiful - the perfect combination.

Decorum

Decorum has to be one of the coolest shops in town in our opinion and is based in the heart of London's East End. The rustic, edgy, dark feel of the shop reflects all the homeware products sold inside. Still small enough to be considered boutique and located in Box Park, on Shoreditch Hight Street, Christina Karoulla 18 years in interiors and retail and her passion good design is a testament to her impeccable taste when it comes to the range of products from LED filament lights to the Notre Monde coffee tables which we've used on some of our photo shoots.

Home Sense

Who doesn't love a bargain? Home Sense has to be one of my go-to places if I want to find discover a hidden gem statement piece at a fraction of the retail price. Here you can find unique pieces and with deliveries every single morning, you are bound to find something that is perfect for any space in your home. Our advice is to be quick though, as once certain exclusive items have been sold they don't get restocked.

The Conran Shop

The name Conran has been synonymous with home design for decades with Habitat started by the 'Grandfather of Design', Terence Conran himself in 1964 to the present day, Conran Shop founded ten years later. This upper-end furniture store has an extensive list of brands but they also source various brands for customers which are invaluable for interior designers and design enthusiasts, allowing patrons to pretty much get everything from under one roof and save you time in the process.

Goodhood

Goodhood is not just a homewares store but a lifestyle retail brand. The 'Life Store' department is a fantastic resource for various homewares, ceramics and household accessories. Hidden amongst in the cobbled streets off Shoreditch High Street, this store has a range of various brands held under one roof it's our secret spot for special finds.

SCP

Not on everyone's radar but we just adore this place based on Curtain Road near Old Street tube and you should too! SCP has a great selection of modern and contemporary furniture plus home accessories to die for and we could spend hours walking round this place. In our opinion, its one of London's finest retail shops, so go and check it out!
