The Founder
Omar Bhatti founded Space Shack in 2016 with a belief that good design begins by seeing the potential others might overlook.
Architecturally trained in London, Omar moved from architecture into interiors, drawn to the immediacy of shaping how spaces are actually used. Early Space Shack projects centred around challenging London properties: rethinking awkward layouts, finding opportunities in limited footprints and creating interiors that worked harder for the people using them.
Today, as Founder & Creative Director, Omar sets the creative direction for Space Shack, shaping the studio's design approach and the standards behind its work. He is also a member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID). What began as an independent practice has evolved into a multidisciplinary studio delivering residential, development and commercial projects across London and beyond.

The Team
Space Shack is built around a collaborative studio team, bringing together designers and specialists with different skills, perspectives and areas of expertise.
Each project is approached with curiosity and practical thinking. We test ideas, solve problems and work through the details that turn a strong concept into a successful finished space. From design development and specification to coordination and delivery, the team works together to keep projects considered, clear and moving forward.
That collaboration allows us to respond to projects of different scales and complexities while maintaining the design thinking and attention to detail that have defined Space Shack from the beginning.
