THe Studio
Founded by Omar Bhatti in 2016, Space Shack is a London interior design studio creating considered interiors for private homes, developments and commercial spaces.
What began with a focus on unlocking the potential of challenging London spaces has grown into a multidisciplinary studio working across projects of different scales and complexities. Today, Omar sets the creative direction, supported by a team of designers and specialists who bring each project from concept through to completion.

Every project starts by understanding what isn't working, what could work better and where the greatest opportunities lie.
Our approach combines creative thinking with practical problem-solving. We question layouts, rethink how space is used and look for solutions that improve flow, function and everyday experience. The result isn't a house style applied from project to project, but a design response shaped around the space, the brief and the people using it.

Espousing a minimalist aesthetic, Space Shack’s interior design is underpinned by intelligent colour palettes with a combination of unassuming materials like wood, natural stone and textured glass with clean-cut lines, minimalist trimmings and impeccably designed, contemporary furnishings which imbue each space with a sense of low-key sophistication.
Add in vibrant accents, metal detailing and sculptural accessories and each renovated residence is an example of how simple, discrete gestures can have a huge impact in imperfect spaces.

Good design is only successful when it can be realised. Our studio brings together the creative and practical sides of a project, developing ideas with an understanding of how they will ultimately be delivered.
From design development and specification to supplier coordination, procurement and installation, our team keeps the different elements moving together while protecting the original design intent. It means ideas don't simply stay on paper - they're carried through into finished spaces.
